Capoeira today is a cultural expression that incorporates music, dance, martial art, game, acrobatics, philosophy and sport.
 
Capoeira is open to everyone regardless of age, sex and race. Some of our students study capoeira in a long-term basis and dedicate themselves to the art while others just practice as a good way of keeping feet and having fun.
 
Because of the fact that Capoeira is a complex art some may find it difficult to define. When a famous and well respected teacher, Mestre Sombra was asked, he replied:

" Capoeira is a prayer."
